ICRS

ICRS (Intracorneal Ring Segments) are small, clear, crescent-shaped pieces of transparent plastic polymer placed in the outer periphery of the cornea, used to treat a specific low range of nearsightedness (myopia). Once in place, the two arcs alter the shape of the cornea, thereby, correcting the refractive error.
